Hydroponic Garden es el primer disco de estudio del duo Sueco formado por Johannes Hedberg y Daniel Ringström, Carbon Based Lifeforms.

Es un hermoso disco con sonidos suaves contrastados por vastos planos tímbricos. El sonido es frágil y delicado y cada pequeña cosa que sucede necesita ser absorbida por la mente como parte de la atmósfera general. Con beats de batería constantes de fondo rodeados por un aura ambient, o simplemente sonidos aleatorios (casi como si fueran sacados directamente de la naturaleza), es la musica chillowt perfecta.

This man needs no introduction. He has captivated and inspired many people, no doubt. Trivia: he also did the login/startup sound for Windows 95!

There are four songs averaging ten minutes in duration each. The first is a lovely piano track that incorporates tape loop phasing, which is what William Basinski does in his Disintegration Loops series. My favorite out of the album, personally. Sophisticated and simple, yet.
